Establishing an integrated end-to-end liquidity hub for TEZEX

We’re building on the existing Sirius Dashboard by introducing advanced tracking and analytics features to provide deeper insights into liquidity activity, token flows, and transaction metrics. These enhancements will empower users to optimize their participation while channeling Sirius-generated liquidity into key TEZEX functionalities, including the DEX aggregator, XTZ-CTez 2.0 terminal, and advanced trading platforms. By combining robust analytics with expanded functionality, we’ll unlock new use cases, leveraging Sirius liquidity for derivatives protocols such as perpetuals, leveraged trading, and other financial instruments. Our goal is to make Sirius a foundational component of TEZEX’s infrastructure, driving scalability, composability, and impact across the Tezos ecosystem.
CTez, a widely adopted wrapped version of Tez, eliminates the need for direct Tez deposits in DeFi contracts while bypassing debates over which bakers bake the Tez deposited into these protocols and how rewards are distributed. Instead, the protocol relies on “ovens” of delegated, providing a seamless mechanism for integrating Tez into DeFi ecosystems. The integration of XTZ-CTez within TEZEX will be crucial for expanding the Tezos DeFi exchange ecosystem and will include all types of stablecoin integrations.
We’re integrating 3route, Tezos’ DEX aggregator, into TEZEX to unify liquidity from stablecoin and stable-like asset pool DEX contracts across AMMs and CFMMs. By focusing on high-liquidity and high-demand assets, we’ll optimize trading efficiency and deliver the best outcomes for users. Leveraging 3route’s routing capabilities, we’ll maximize liquidity utilization and further enhance the performance of the broader Tezos DeFi ecosystem.
Derivatives :
By leveraging TezFin contracts to enable advanced financial instruments, including spot margin trading, perpetuals, power perpetuals, and shorting capabilities, we’re expanding the derivatives ecosystem on Tezos. (Although derivatives are less than 10% of DeFi, they dominate traditional financial markets, making their growth potential significant.) These tools empower users to amplify trading strategies, hedge risks, and participate in highly liquid markets. Spot margin trading allows users to borrow and trade with leverage, while perpetuals and power perpetuals provide ongoing trading opportunities without expirations, enabling sophisticated strategies that cater to both speculative and risk-averse participants. Beyond this, we’re introducing forwards, futures, and the assetization of baking positions, unlocking new ways to manage risk, speculate, and access liquidity. Together, these features create encapsulated value sources that can seamlessly integrate into Tezos L2 markets, positioning TEZEX as a hub for advanced derivatives and broader innovation across the ecosystem.
Reintroduced Atomic Swap Protocol (with Bitcoin support!):
We’re reintroducing the Tezos atomic-swap protocol (first launched during the 2021 cycle) to enhance interoperability and trustless trading within the ecosystem, now with expanded support beyond Tezos-to-Ethereum (and vice versa) to include Tezos-to-Bitcoin (and vice versa) as well. This protocol enables direct, peer-to-peer asset exchanges across high-liquidity chains without relying on intermediaries or custodians, ensuring transparency and security in every transaction. By integrating direct trustless access to these assets, we aim to facilitate seamless interchain liquidity flows, empowering users with efficient and decentralized trading options. This reintroduction aligns with our vision to build robust DeFi infrastructure, providing a critical bridge between Tezos and other blockchain ecosystems, and strengthening Tezos’ position as a leader in trustless, interchain financial innovation.
