Tezos Intents

Status: Planned

Tezos Intents extends the reach of Tezos beyond its own execution environment.

Intent-based execution starts with the outcome a user wants rather than the individual transactions required to reach it. A user specifies the result, while competing solvers determine how best to execute across available assets, markets, and networks.

We plan to connect TEZEX to this infrastructure as the Tezos Intents ecosystem develops.

From Transactions to Outcomes

Moving value across blockchain ecosystems still often requires users to think through every intermediate step.

An intent changes that model.

Instead of choosing each bridge, swap, route, and transaction manually, the user expresses the desired outcome. Solvers compete to find an efficient way to produce it.

That makes fragmented liquidity easier to use and gives execution more flexibility across different markets and networks.

The underlying idea is broader than TEZEX or Tezos. Intents create a common way for users and applications to reach liquidity wherever it exists.

Connecting Tezos to a Wider Market

For Tezos, that broader connectivity is especially important.

A user does not need to begin inside the Tezos ecosystem in order to create economic activity here. An intent originating elsewhere may ultimately require a solver to acquire a Tezos asset, trade through a Tezos market, or interact with a Tezos application.

That turns external demand into activity within the Tezos economy.

For TEZEX, the opportunity is to make our markets part of that wider execution network, giving solvers another route into Tezos-native liquidity while making that liquidity accessible to users who may never interact with TEZEX directly.

A Centripetal Effect for Tezos

We think of this as a centripetal effect.

Greater connectivity does more than let assets move outward. It creates more paths for demand, liquidity, and users to move inward toward Tezos-native markets.

Once that activity reaches Tezos, it becomes useful across a much wider financial system.

Capital may move through trading, liquidity provision, lending, collateral, staking-related markets, derivatives, or other Tezos applications.

That creates a reinforcing cycle:

greater connectivity → greater native activity → deeper liquidity → greater utility → stronger markets

The value is not simply that Tezos connects to more networks. It is that those connections create more reasons for capital to become active inside Tezos.

Building on Tezos X

Tezos X strengthens the financial environment inside Tezos.

Tezos Intents extends the reach of that environment outward.

We see those two directions as complementary.

Tezos X gives us a more capable execution environment for deeper and more sophisticated markets. Intents give users and solvers across other ecosystems more ways to reach those markets.

Together, they expand both what TEZEX supports internally and who is able to access it.

Where TEZEX Fits

Tezos Intents is broader ecosystem infrastructure rather than a TEZEX technology.

Our role is to integrate with it.

As that infrastructure develops, we plan to make TEZEX liquidity and trading available within intent-based execution paths, connecting Tezos-native markets to a wider network of users, assets, and capital.

The objective is larger than routing individual trades.

We want broader connectivity to translate into more Tezos-native liquidity, utility, and economic activity.
